Urgent Flutter Bug Fixes

Job ID: 39806134

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

My production Flutter app needs an immediate round of debugging so it can ship smoothly on both iOS and Android. Right now I’m seeing crashes during certain flows, uneven layouts on different screen sizes and a general sluggishness that wasn’t there in earlier builds. I’ve already pulled the latest Flutter and Dart stable channels, so the code base is current; what I require is a sharp set of eyes—and solid hands—to pinpoint the root causes and patch them without introducing regressions.

Scope of work
• Hunt down and eliminate any exception that prevents the app from compiling, installing or running.
• Align all screens so they respect safe areas, device rotations and varied pixel densities, keeping the design identical to our Figma reference.
• Profile and trim anything that bloats start-up, frame rendering or memory; typical tools here are DevTools, Flutter Inspector and Android Studio/Xcode profilers.
• Confirm the codebase builds cleanly with the latest stable SDK and that all deprecated APIs are refactored.
• Comment and structure the changes clearly so future merges through Git stay painless.

Deliverables
1. Updated source code pushed to the main branch.
2. A short changelog describing every fix, file touched and rationale.
3. Test build (IPA + APK) that installs and runs crash-free on recent iOS and Android versions.
4. Two-day smoke-test window where you remain on call to squash any edge-case surprises.

Acceptance criteria
– App compiles with `flutter build apk` and `flutter build ios` on Flutter stable.
– No unhandled exceptions during a 30-minute exploratory run.
– First paint under two seconds on a mid-range Android device.
– Layout consistently matches Figma on phones and tablets.

If you’ve wrestled with animations, state management quirks or platform-specific oddities before, you’ll feel right at home here. Let’s get this app back to a five-star experience.
