Twilio SMS for Flutter Chat
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a live Flutter + Firebase chat application and now need to layer in Twilio so users can exchange SMS messages directly from the app. The goal is full two-way messaging: when the app sends a text, the recipient can reply and the message should flow back into our existing chat threads in real time.
You’ll receive the project repo and an architecture diagram in the attachment to see how the current Firestore-based conversations are stored. I’d like clean, well-documented Dart code that:
• connects to Twilio using the recommended serverless/Firebase Cloud Functions approach,
• sends outbound SMS from inside the existing chat composer, and
• listens to Twilio webhooks so incoming replies are posted into the correct chat room and trigger our standard push notifications.
Hand-off items: updated source code, any new Cloud Functions, Twilio console configuration notes, and a short read-me so my team can replicate the setup in staging. Please test end-to-end on both Android and iOS simulators (I’ll handle physical device QA after delivery).
If you have shipped a similar Flutter–Twilio integration before, I’m ready to start right away.
