I’m a non-technical founder, and I need a technical hiring consultant to:
✅ Define the best tech stack for our MVP.
✅ Write clear job descriptions for front-end & back-end developers.
✅ Screen candidates and conduct technical interviews.
✅ Advise on hiring decisions to ensure we get the right talent.
✅ Opportunity for Long-Term Role: After the hiring process, there is potential for you to stay on as a freelance CTO, advising on technical strategy, overseeing development, and scaling the product.
✅ What You’ll Do
Recommend a tech stack for an AI-driven mobile app (React Native vs Flutter, Node.js vs Python, etc.).
Write job descriptions for front-end & back-end developer roles.
Review applications & shortlist candidates (Upwork, Toptal, etc.).
Conduct technical interviews (coding assessments, system design discussions).
Evaluate portfolios, coding tests, and previous work.
Advise on hiring & onboarding processes to set up a smooth development workflow.
✅ (Optional) Continue as a freelance CTO, providing part-time technical leadership.
? Who We’re Looking For
✔️ Experienced Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or Technical Recruiter with developer hiring experience.
✔️ Strong knowledge of mobile & backend development (React Native, Flutter, Node.js, Python).
✔️ Experience in hiring and managing software engineers for startups.
✔️ Can explain technical concepts to a non-technical founder.
✔️ Bonus: Experience with AI-driven apps, real estate platforms, or marketplaces.
? Preferred Tech Stack Knowledge
While you won’t be coding, you should have a strong understanding of:
? Front-end: React Native or Flutter
? Back-end: Node.js, Python/Django, Firebase
? Databases: PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB
? Cloud: AWS, Firebase, Google Cloud
? Contract Details
✅Duration: 1-3 months (with the option to continue as a freelance CTO).
✅ Budget: Dependent on experience and expertise (open to fixed-price offers).
✅ Remote: Work from anywhere, but availability in UK time zones is a plus.
