Self-Hosted Live Class Integration
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I already run a Laravel-based admin panel with a companion Flutter mobile app and I now want to add real-time, self-hosted live classes. I do NOT plan to use Zoom, Twitch or YouTube Live; the stream has to stay on my own server or a private media server you help me set up.
Core requirements
• Stream should play smoothly inside both the Laravel dashboard (for instructors) and the Flutter app (for students).
• Every viewer and instructor must be logged in first; the integration must respect the authentication layer that already exists in Laravel and Flutter.
• Built-in chat during the class, plus automatic recording of each session for on-demand playback later.
Deliverables
1. Live-streaming back-end (self-hosted) configured and documented.
2. Laravel blade/component that lets instructors start, stop, and monitor a session.
3. Flutter widget that joins the stream, shows chat, and handles reconnection gracefully.
4. Storage and retrieval flow for recorded videos linked to the correct class record.
5. Clear setup notes so my team can reproduce on staging and production.
I am open to your choice of streaming stack—WebRTC, HLS with an Nginx-RTMP module, or another proven self-hosted solution—as long as it meets the three bullet requirements above and can scale to a few hundred concurrent viewers without relying on third-party SaaS licenses.
