Scalable E-Commerce Platform Build
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am launching a cross-platform store—mobile (Flutter) and web (Next.js)—with a feature set on par with Shein or Trendyol, delivered through a clean, microservices-ready Node.js + NestJS backend. The stack is fixed: PostgreSQL for data, Amazon S3 for assets, and Redis for caching.
Core scope
• Full shopping flow: product catalogue, categories, cart, shipping, Tap Payments or HyperPay checkout, order tracking, and bilingual (Arabic / English) UI.
• Social-media–based authentication with JWT + refresh tokens, rate limiting, and end-to-end encryption.
• Search that combines basic text, advanced filters, and an AI image-matching component.
• Admin panel to manage products, customers, orders, and analytics.
• Deep CJ Dropshipping integration—product import, real-time inventory & price sync via Webhooks, and automatic fulfilment tracking.
• Security hardening: API gateway protection, XSS & SQL-injection shields, detailed logging, and monitoring hooks already wired.
Deliverables
1. Flutter Android & iOS apps, production-ready and store-compliant.
2. Next.js storefront with full SEO and server-side rendering.
3. NestJS services split into clearly defined modules so future micro-services can be spun out painlessly.
4. PostgreSQL schema (DDL) and seed data.
5. Infrastructure scripts (Docker/Kubernetes or equivalent) plus CI/CD pipelines.
6. Source code with inline documentation and a concise setup guide.
Acceptance criteria
• End-to-end purchase flow works in both languages.
• 100 ms p99 search latency with Redis cache warm.
• Image search returns top-10 visually similar items ≥90 % of the time in test dataset.
• CJ Dropshipping webhook updates reflected in the admin dashboard within 60 seconds.
• OWASP ZAP scan scores “pass” on all critical items.
With these foundations in place, the platform should scale smoothly as additional microservices, regions, or languages are added down the road.
