Goal: Rebuild the existing Replit web app into a production-ready FlutterFlow mobile app and launch on Google Play + Apple App Store using Client’s accounts.
1) Project Summary
Client has an existing working app built in Replit (React/Vite + Express API + Postgres).
Freelancer will recreate the app in FlutterFlow with full feature parity (all screens, buttons, workflows) and deliver stable Android + iOS releases.
2) Mandatory Tools / Where Work Happens
Development must be done inside Client’s FlutterFlow Growth account (Client is paying for AI Agent features).
Payments/subscriptions must use Client’s Stripe account.
Publishing must be done through Client’s Google Play Console + Apple App Store Connect.
3) Scope — What Must Be Built (Feature Parity)
Freelancer must rebuild and connect all core modules currently in the app, including:
Authentication: register/login/logout, profile, forgot/reset password, 2FA, delete account, logout all sessions
Biometric login: fingerprint/Face ID + fallback login, secure token storage
Pets: add/edit/view pets
Reminders + notifications: reminders per pet + reliable notification behavior
Media + documents: upload/view/delete pet media & documents with progress/loading/error handling
Weight logs: add/view logs
Sharing: share links + access by code + shared pet profile
Playdates: create/open list/join/leave
AI features: integrate existing AI endpoints (recommendations/camera guide/chat if used)
Settings + contact + pricing + terms/privacy screens
4) Backend / API Integration
Use existing backend from Client’s Replit project if feasible for production (security/performance).
If changes are needed (hosting/migration), freelancer must propose and get written client approval before proceeding.
All API calls must include: loading states, timeouts, friendly errors, and secure auth handling.
5) Subscriptions (Stripe)
Implement Stripe subscription flow + premium gating using Client’s Stripe account.
Important: Freelancer must assess iOS payment compliance early. If Apple rules require IAP, freelancer must flag it and propose a compliant solution before implementation.
6) Quality Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
No critical crashes in standard usage
Smooth UX, consistent UI, and proper validation
Secure handling of sessions/tokens (no secrets embedded in app)
Good handling of slow/no network (retry + clear messages)
7) Testing & QA
Freelancer must provide a short test plan + results and verify:
Auth + biometric login
Add/edit/view pets
Reminders + notification trigger
Media/document upload + view + delete
Subscriptions + premium gating
Sharing by code + shared profile
Playdates flows
iOS/Android smoke testing on real device or equivalent
8) Store Launch + Listing Assets
Freelancer must:
Produce release builds: Android AAB + iOS build for TestFlight/App Store
Upload and submit via Client’s developer accounts
Fix store-review issues caused by implementation
Create attractive store screenshots for Google Play and App Store (store-ready sizes)
9) Deliverables
FlutterFlow project completed inside Client’s account
Android release AAB + iOS TestFlight/App Store build
Store screenshots pack (Android + iOS)
Basic handover doc (env vars, build steps, key config notes)
Support for store submission until approved (or rejections resolved)
10) Payment & Acceptance (Project-Based)
Work is milestone-based or final payment on “live” (Client preference).
Definition of Done: apps approved/submitted successfully, core flows pass QA checklist, stable operation without critical bugs.
