Photo Blog Social App Development

I’m looking to build a mobile app that works like a lightweight social network where users can share photos and text posts, scroll a feed, tap to like, and leave comments. Only standard user accounts are needed, and access will be secured with a straightforward email-and-password login flow—no social logins for now.

Core functions
• Create, edit, and delete photo or text posts
• Infinite or paginated feed displaying newest content first
• Like and comment interactions on every post
• Push notifications for new likes, comments, and follows (opt-in)

User management
• Email sign-up / sign-in with verification
• Password reset flow
• Basic profile page showing avatar, bio, post count, and follower stats

Tech expectations
I’m happy to use a modern cross-platform stack such as Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform paired with a lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or a small Node/Express API with PostgreSQL). Feel free to suggest the stack you’re most comfortable maintaining.

Deliverables
1. Source code for the mobile app
2. Configured backend/database schema
3. README or brief setup guide
4. Short video or screenshots demonstrating key flows

Clean, well-commented code and an MVP-ready build that I can sideload for testing will be the primary acceptance criteria.
