Personal Finance Mobile App Development

Job ID: 40527865

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a cross-platform mobile application that helps everyday users stay on top of their money. The build must run smoothly on both Android and iOS, share a single code-base where practical, and feel fully native on each device.

Core objective
Creating clear, monthly budgets is the heart of the product—everything else flows from that screen. Users should be able to enter income and expenses quickly, assign them to categories, and see at a glance how much of each budget remains.

Complementary functions
• Automatic or manual tracking of income and expenses
• Simple charts and reports that visualise spending patterns and savings progress
• Custom savings goals with optional reminders and push notifications
• Secure, local data storage (encryption at rest) with an easy path to cloud backup

Design & experience
The interface must look clean and modern, with uncluttered screens, intuitive navigation, and accessibility in mind. Think lightweight animations, a consistent colour palette, and components that adapt gracefully to different screen sizes.

Technical expectations
• Proven experience building and publishing mobile apps
• Familiarity with popular cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native, or native development if you prefer maintaining two codebases
• Strong attention to security best practices for handling personal finance data
• Clear, maintainable code and concise documentation

Delivery
I’ll provide timely feedback on wireframes, prototypes, and test builds so we can keep momentum. The goal is to move from design hand-off to App Store and Play Store submission on an agreed schedule without surprises.

If you’ve shipped something similar—or have fresh ideas on how to make budgeting genuinely enjoyable—let’s talk details and timelines.
