Parent-School App MVP
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a straightforward mobile app that lets parents stay in sync with their child’s school. The first milestone is an MVP that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android; whether you use Flutter, React Native, or another proven cross-platform stack is up to you as long as the final builds are App Store / Play Store ready.
Core scope
• Clean login tied to a simple school database or API (I can provide endpoints or mock data).
• One parent-facing dashboard with space for essentials such as messaging with teachers, grade views, or homework updates—feel free to suggest the quickest subset we can ship first.
• Basic admin panel or JSON config so staff can push new information without editing code.
Timeline
I’m looking for a rapid turnaround—ASAP—so please outline how fast you can deliver an installable beta and what you’ll need from me on day one.
Deliverables
• Source code with clear folder structure
• TestFlight build (iOS) and signed AAB/APK (Android)
• Short hand-off guide for future in-house maintenance
If you’ve launched similar parent-school or information-hub apps, share a link or two so I can see your approach. Let’s keep the first release lean and iterate once it’s in parents’ hands.
