Moon Ritual Tracker App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to bring a cross-platform mobile experience to life that guides users through each lunar phase and the rituals that accompany it. The app’s core is moon cycle tracking; everything else supports that journey.
What I need built for both iOS and Android is straightforward but detail-oriented:
• Phase notifications and explanations – real-time push alerts as the moon shifts, each paired with a concise, friendly write-up that explains the energetic theme of the phase.
• Personalized ritual suggestions – users answer a short onboarding quiz, and the app matches their intentions to appropriate practices, automatically updating as the lunar calendar rolls on.
• Calendar integration – a two-way sync with the device’s native calendar (and ideally Google / Apple calendars) so users can see upcoming phases and schedule rituals without manual entry.
A clean, calming UI, smooth navigation, and reliable timezone handling are crucial. You’re free to choose the stack: Flutter, React Native, Swift + Kotlin, or any solution that yields native-feeling performance and supports push notifications, in-app purchases down the road, and analytics (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.).
Acceptance criteria
1. Both App Store and Google Play builds pass their respective reviews.
2. Notifications trigger at the correct local time for each phase.
3. Ritual recommendations dynamically adjust to user selections without requiring an app update.
4. Calendar events display accurate phase titles, times, and icons.
I’ll supply copy, ritual content, and design references; you handle architecture, coding, basic UI design, and a short onboarding tutorial. Once the first test build is stable and feature-complete, we can talk ongoing maintenance, but for now the deliverable is a polished MVP ready for public release.
