Mobile app needed for small project
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
agricultural startup involved in the process of vermicomposting, which is the concept of turning organic waste into rich soil fertilizer through use of composting worms.
Company has been doing great things for its community, from hosting local gardening workshops to express the benefits of vermicomposting, as well as participating in local startup competitions to compete for funding.
Recently purchased 13 acres of land where they will have their facility established. In keeping with the environmentally friendly theme of the company, the land will also host other features that will increase the natural biodiversity of the area (a pond, composting site, small areas to grow crops, etc.) and will be open to the general public to enjoy.
A feature that the business wants to keep cultivating and growing is their scrap pick up service. Through a subscription model, a client pays a monthly fee in exchange for having the company pick up their organic waste, which will then be turned into vermicompost at the facility and then returned to the client after a certain amount of pick ups.
Some of the things wanting the app to showcase are the following:
1.A payment platform integrated where a client can pay this service, renew/cancel subscription.
2. A way for the client to "see" how much waste they have diverted from landfills (ex. "as of this month you have diverted 34 kg of waste from your local landfill").
3. Tying into item 2, the app will also return a value of how much soil/compost the client has received (" as of October 2022, you have received 40kg of compost).
4. A knowledge base/FAQ section where a user can see what types of items can be composted, ways to reach out to company, etc.
App will need to be available for both Android/iOS
Company will be able to provide the data for items 2-4, they just want it in an app for the user to view
