Mobile App Developer Needed – Location-Based Volunteer Feeding Platform (iOS/Android + Admin)

Job ID: 40192765

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

We are looking for an experienced mobile app developer or small team to build Version 1 of a location-based volunteer platform that connects hungry individuals with nearby volunteers willing to provide food for free.

This is not a marketplace, not e-commerce, and involves no payments.

The platform uses geographic zone control, meaning hunger requests are only enabled in approved areas where sufficient volunteers exist.

Key Requirements
• iOS & Android mobile apps (Flutter preferred)
• Web-based admin dashboard
• Real-time GPS & background location handling
• Proximity-based matching
• Push notifications & SMS fallback
• Map-based live tracking with ETA
• Role-based users (feeder / requester)
• Zone-based activation & demand reporting
• Admin analytics and broadcast notifications

Important Clarifications
• The app will be published on the App Store and Google Play
• Anyone can install the app and become a feeder
• Hunger requests are controlled strictly by geographic zones
• No payments, pricing, listings, or browsing features

Marketplace-style proposals will not be considered.

What We Expect From You
• Experience building real-time, location-aware applications
• Strong understanding of maps, background services, and notifications
• Ability to design modular, scalable systems
• Clear documentation and communication
• Willingness to sign an NDA before detailed technical disclosure
