Kids' Toothbrushing Companion App Development

Smush is hiring a mobile app developer to build an MVP of our kids’ toothbrushing companion app (iOS/Android). This MVP will not connect to a toothbrush yet—its purpose is to prove the core experience: kids can start a brushing session and watch simple, engaging “games” (animated/video-style content) while the app gives timed, friendly guidance like when to switch to bottom teeth or move to a new area, plus positive reinforcement at the end (encouraging phrases, badges/confetti, etc.). The app should also include a parent-gated interface where parents can create/manage at least one child profile and view brushing data such as how long and how many times their child has brushed, with a simple history view and basic stats (daily/weekly totals and average duration). We prefer a clean, scalable build (Flutter or React Native is fine) that stores session data reliably (local storage is okay for MVP; cloud sync is a plus) and is structured so Bluetooth toothbrush connectivity can be added later. This project must be completed within 3 weeks, and our maximum budget is $550—please do not reply/apply if you cannot meet both the timeline and budget.
