1. Description: The Residential "Digital Twin"
We are building a Web-First Interactive Portal for residential homeowners. The platform allows owners to visualize their home’s construction by pinning photos and documents directly onto their architectural floor plans.
The app acts as a "Digital X-Ray," capturing what is behind the walls (plumbing, electrical, structural) before they are closed. It provides a simple, high-resolution interface for the owner to track progress and manage Variation Requests(Change Orders) and defects (punch lists) in one geographically organized hub.

2. Scope of Work (SOW)
Module 1: Interactive Pinning & Plan Engine
High-Res Blueprint Viewer: Support for multi-page architectural PDFs.
Geospatial Pinning: Tap-to-drop pins using percentage-based coordinates ($X/Y\%$) to ensure pins never "drift" when switching between phone and desktop.
Canvas Interaction: Smooth zoom/pan optimized for mobile browsers.
Module 2: Defect & Punch List Management (NEW)
Defect Pin Category: A high-visibility "Red Pin" specifically for defects and issues.
Status Lifecycle: Each defect pin must have a status: Open → In Progress → Pending Review → Resolved.
Defect Details: Fields for "Priority" (Low/High), "Category" (e.g., Structural, Finish, Electrical), and a photo of the issue.
Verification Logic: Ability for the owner to "Close" a defect only after a "Resolution Photo" has been uploaded by the builder.
Module 3: Boundary Logic (Room Tagging)
Zone Creator: Tool to draw polygons over the plan to define rooms.
Auto-Tagging: Pins dropped in the "Master Bath" are automatically labeled as such, making it easy to search for all "Bathroom Defects."
Module 4: Vertical Progress & Defect Feed
Dual-View Feed: An "Instagram-style" scroll that can be filtered to show only Progress (green) or only Defects (red).
Defect Dashboard: A summary view for the owner showing "Total Open Defects" vs. "Resolved Defects."
Module 5: Variation & Change Management
Variation Pins: Logic for "Change Requests" with PDF/image attachments.
Audit Trail: Threaded, timestamped comments inside every pin for clear owner-builder communication.
Module 6: Web Performance & PWA
PWA Setup: Website must be "installable" on a phone home screen for instant camera access.
Background Sync: Ensures high-res defect photos finish uploading even if the browser is minimized.
