Innovative Patient Appointment & Check-In App

Job ID: 39834392

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

. Patient Features

Book / Cancel / Reschedule appointments with any provider on the system.

Profile Management: Update personal details (address, phone, Medicare/private insurance, emergency contacts, allergies, etc.).

QR / Barcode Check-in:

On arrival, patient scans their code at a kiosk or reception tablet.

Their appointment is automatically marked as “arrived.”

Updated details from the app sync with the provider’s system instantly.

Appointment History & Reminders – past and upcoming visits easily visible.

2. Healthcare Provider Features

Calendar Management:

Set available time slots (daily, weekly, custom).

Accept / reject / reschedule requests.

Auto-Sync with Patient Records: If a patient updates their info (address, phone, insurance), it reflects in the provider’s system immediately.

Check-In Dashboard: Staff see who has checked in via barcode in real time.

Reduced admin load – less paperwork and less verbal exchange at reception.

How the Barcode / QR Check-In Works

After booking, the patient gets a unique QR code linked to that appointment.

At the clinic/hospital, there’s a scanner or tablet kiosk at reception.

Patient scans → system verifies appointment → marks “checked in.”

If any updates were made in the app (address, phone, emergency contact), the system automatically pulls the latest info.
