Full-Stack Dev for BPA System Upgrade

Senior Full-Stack Developer / Technical Consultant (React, Node.js, Flutter)

About the Project:

We’ve built and deployed a full Business Process Automation (BPA) system comprising a React-based website, Node.js backend, Flutter mobile app, and dedicated dashboards for admins and students.

The system is live and currently used by clients, but it was developed with support from a junior team and outsourced developers. As a result, we’re now facing challenges in stability, scalability, and code quality.

We are seeking a senior engineer or consultant to take ownership of the technical roadmap, stabilize the platform, and guide its evolution into a robust, maintainable, and scalable system.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit the existing codebase (React, Node.js, Flutter)

Identify architectural flaws, critical bugs, and technical debt

Prioritize and fix high-impact issues affecting live users

Refactor unstable components without breaking the system

Establish dev best practices (code review, version control, QA)

Set up CI/CD, testing workflows, and documentation

Collaborate with (or help replace) the current team

Optionally help build a new internal team or select a dev partner

Requirements:

5+ years of full-stack development experience

Strong knowledge of:

Frontend: React (Hooks, Context, Redux)

Backend: Node.js (Express, REST APIs)

Mobile: Flutter (Dart)

Solid experience working with production/live systems

Experience fixing, refactoring, or taking over legacy codebases

Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jenkins)

Excellent communication and ability to work independently

Nice to Have:

Experience mentoring junior developers or managing dev teams

Familiarity with Firebase, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

Knowledge of DevOps, cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, GCP)

Experience in BPA, EdTech, or workflow-based platforms

Engagement Details:

Start: Immediate

Type: Contract (2–4 weeks) or Full-time

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: Part-time or full-time depending on availability

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and engagement type
