Project Description:

I am looking for an experienced mobile app developer to build an MVP for a cross-platform app called DESS LocaFácil.

The app will help small entrepreneurs start and manage a small car rental business focused on vehicles rented to ride-share drivers, delivery drivers and executive transportation drivers.

The first version must be simple, professional, functional and ready for market validation. The app must work on Android and iOS, preferably using Flutter with Firebase.

Preferred stack:

- Flutter
- Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore
- Firebase Analytics, if possible
- Firebase Storage only if needed

The proposal may suggest alternatives, but must explain why.

Important: Login and Cloud Database

The app must have:

- user registration;
- login with e-mail and password;
- password recovery;
- logout;
- cloud database;
- data separated by user/company;
- basic user status control;
- basic structure for future paid plans.

The app must not be only offline/local. Each user must only access their own data.

I also need to identify users who register in the app. At minimum, the database should allow me to see:

- user name;
- e-mail;
- phone;
- company/rental business name;
- registration date;
- last login date, if possible;
- number of vehicles registered;
- number of drivers registered;
- user plan: free, pro or admin;
- user status: active, blocked or trial.

A full admin panel is not required for version 1, but the database structure must be prepared for future admin control. If you can include a simple admin screen/panel, mention it as optional.

Main Features Required:

1. Company / Rental Business Profile

Fields:

- company or rental business name;
- responsible person name;
- CPF or CNPJ;
- phone;
- e-mail;
- city/state;
- Pix key;
- bank details, optional;
- logo, optional.

2. Dashboard

The dashboard must show:

- total registered vehicles;
- rented vehicles;
- available vehicles;
- vehicles under maintenance;
- active drivers;
- active rentals;
- pending payments;
- overdue payments;
- total received in the current month;
- next payment due dates.

3. Vehicle Registration

Fields:

- plate;
- brand;
- model;
- year;
- color;
- vehicle type: standard, Comfort, Black, electric, hybrid, utility, van, other;
- owner name;
- weekly rental price;
- biweekly/monthly rental price, if applicable;
- weekly mileage limit;
- extra mileage price;
- current mileage;
- status: available, rented, maintenance, inactive;
- notes.

The user must be able to create, edit, view, deactivate/delete and filter vehicles.

4. Driver Registration

Fields:

- full name;
- phone;
- CPF;
- driver license number;
- address;
- city/state;
- apps used: Uber, 99, delivery, executive transportation, other;
- experience time;
- status: under review, approved, rejected, active, inactive;
- notes.

The user must be able to create, edit, view, deactivate/delete and filter drivers.

5. Rental Registration

The rental record must link one vehicle to one driver.

Fields:

- vehicle;
- driver;
- start date;
- end date, if applicable;
- billing type: weekly, biweekly or monthly;
- rental amount;
- security deposit amount;
- due date;
- starting mileage;
- mileage limit;
- extra mileage price;
- company commission, if applicable;
- status: active, ended, overdue.

6. Payment Control

Fields:

- rental;
- driver;
- vehicle;
- payment date;
- due date;
- amount due;
- amount paid;
- reference period;
- discount;
- maintenance deduction;
- fine or extra charge;
- company commission;
- owner payout amount;
- payment method;
- status: paid, pending, overdue;
- notes.

Required functions:

- register payment;
- mark as paid/pending/overdue;
- view payment history by driver/vehicle;
- calculate owner payout when applicable.

7. Security Deposit Control

Fields:

- rental;

- vehicle;
- deposit amount;
- received amount;
- received date;
- status: received, partial, returned, retained;
- return date;
- retained amount;
- notes.

8. Mileage Control

Fields:

- starting mileage;
- ending mileage;
- mileage limit;
- extra mileage price;
- mileage used;
- extra mileage;
- extra mileage amount.

The app must calculate total mileage used, extra mileage and extra mileage amount.

9. Receipt Text Generator

The app must generate ready-to-copy receipt texts:

- driver payment receipt;
- owner payout receipt;
- weekly rental summary;
- receipt with maintenance discount;
- receipt with extra mileage charge;
- security deposit receipt.

The generated text must have a copy button. PDF generation is not required in version 1, but it is a plus.

10. WhatsApp Message Generator

The app must generate ready-to-copy WhatsApp messages:

- payment reminder;
- overdue payment warning;
- odometer photo request;
- inspection video request;
- payment thank-you message;
- weekly summary to vehicle owner;
- maintenance notice;
- rental due date notice;
- security deposit request.

Direct WhatsApp integration is not mandatory. A copy button is enough. A “share to WhatsApp” button is optional.

11. Inspection Checklist

The app must include checklists for vehicle delivery and return.

Checklist items:

- external photos;
- internal photos;
- odometer photo;
- 360-degree video;
- tire condition;
- fuel level;
- vehicle documents;
- spare key;
- manual;
- spare tire;
- jack;
- warning triangle;
- visible damages;
- notes.

In version 1, the checklist may be text-based with checkboxes. Photo upload is optional and can be quoted separately.

12. Internal Guide

The app must include an educational guide section about how to start a small car rental business.

Guide modules:

1. How vehicle rental for app drivers works;
2. How to start with one vehicle;
3. How to choose the right vehicle;
4. How to define weekly pricing;
5. How to define a security deposit;
6. How to analyze a driver;
7. How to prepare a contract;
8. How to perform vehicle inspection;
9. How to control payments;
10. How to control extra mileage;
11. How to deal with late payments;
12. How to reduce risks;
13. How to grow the fleet safely.

The guide texts can be provided by me. The developer must create the structure to display these modules.

All project files, source code, Firebase structure, database structure, screens, business logic, receipt/message templates and app assets developed for this project will be owned by me/my company.

The developer must not reuse, resell or publish this project, source code, brand, app name, database structure or business logic without my written authorization.

3. Firebase configuration instructions;
4. Android APK for testing;
5. Android AAB for Google Play publishing;
6. iOS build support for App Store publishing;

10. Basic database security rules;
11. Simple build/run instructions;
12. List of implemented features;
13. List of limitations and suggestions for version 2.

Publishing Support:

Please include whether you can support:

- Android AAB preparation;
- iOS build preparation;
- Firebase setup;
- store screenshots, if needed.

For iOS, confirm whether you have access to Mac/Xcode and App Store publishing experience.

Expected Timeline:

Please include your estimated delivery time in the proposal.

I am looking for a fast MVP delivery, but I prefer that you provide a realistic timeline based on the scope.

If you can simplify the MVP to deliver faster, please explain what can be delivered first and what should stay for version 2.

Preferred Payment by Milestones:

I prefer fixed-price proposals with payment by milestones.

Suggested milestones:

1. Project setup, Firebase, login, navigation and dashboard layout;
2. Company profile, vehicle, driver and rental registrations;
3. Payment, security deposit and mileage controls;
4. Receipt generator, WhatsApp message generator, checklist and guide section;
5. Testing, fixes, APK, AAB, iOS build support and final source code.

Design Expectations:

The design must be simple, modern, clean, professional and easy to use.

Branding:

- App name: DESS LocaFácil;
- Simple visual identity for version 1;
- Logo/colors can be provided later.
