Flutter App Update & Maintenance
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
An existing Flutter application, already live on Google Play, needs a full maintenance pass to stay compliant with the latest Android API level and Play Store policies. The codebase is entirely Flutter, so familiarity with Dart, Flutter SDK upgrades, and the Android build chain (Gradle, targetSdkVersion updates, AAB signing) is essential.
The work involves:
• Raising the project to the current Android target SDK and resolving any permission or manifest changes that surface.
• Updating all Flutter and third-party dependencies, cleaning deprecations, and silencing build-time warnings.
• Hunting down a handful of minor bugs reported in the Play Console and user reviews, then validating fixes on both physical devices and the emulator.
• Optimising performance where you spot quick wins—typical areas are build size, frame-drop hotspots, and sluggish screen transitions.
• Producing a signed release AAB, walking it through closed testing, and completing rollout through the Play Console.
I’ll provide Play Console access, the existing Git repository, crash logs, and any QA feedback gathered so far. Please plan to keep concise commit messages and notes so future upkeep is straightforward. When you respond, a line or two on your recent Flutter release work will help me gauge fit.
