Flutter App & Node.js Backend

I’m building a Flutter mobile app and need the server side put together in Node.js. The backend must handle secure user authentication, store and retrieve data reliably, and push real-time updates to the app. On the Flutter side I want smooth user login/signup flows, clean data display screens, and working push notifications on both Android and iOS.

Here’s how I picture the collaboration:

• Node.js backend
– Implement JWT (or similar) auth and refresh logic
– Design a database schema and wire it up for fast data reads/writes
– Expose REST or GraphQL endpoints plus a real-time channel (Socket.io or equivalent)

• Flutter app integration
– Connect the app to the new endpoints for login, signup, and data fetching
– Render the returned data in responsive UI widgets
– Configure Firebase Cloud Messaging (or an alternative) for push notifications

• Final hand-off
– Source code with clear comments
– Postman / Swagger collection for every endpoint
– Setup notes so I can run everything locally and deploy to my hosting later
