Project Description

I am looking for an experienced Flutter developer (or small team) to customize, debug, optimize, and prepare an existing classified ads mobile application template for production launch.

This is a marketplace-type application, so the work must be done with scalability, performance, and real commercial usage in mind. The final deliverable must be a fully stable, production-ready application suitable for real users.

Only developers with proven experience in marketplace/classified apps, payment gateway integration, and Play Store deployment should apply.

Scope of Work
1. Branding Customization
Replace existing logos with my brand logos
Apply my brand colors across the entire application
Ensure consistent UI/UX across:
User mobile app
Admin panel
Avoid hardcoded styling (must support future updates)
2. Banner Advertisement System

The application will monetize through banner advertisements.

Required changes:

Add additional banner placements such as:
Homepage top banner
Between listings
Category pages
Ad detail page (if feasible)
Existing banners must remain unchanged
Banner management must be dynamic via admin panel:
Upload
Enable/disable
Replace
Delete
Assign placement
Ensure responsive and optimized loading
3. Category & Subcategory Population (Admin Setup)

The category system already exists in the application.

However, since this is a new marketplace, the developer must:

Create and populate all main categories
Create and populate relevant subcategories
Configure category structure properly in admin panel
Ensure category selection works correctly during ad posting
Ensure category browsing is optimized for user experience

This setup is required so the app is ready for real users at launch.

4. Paynow Payment Gateway Integration (Zimbabwe)

Integrate Paynow for local payments.

Payment use cases include:

Featured/promoted ads
Subscription packages

Requirements:

Secure API integration
Proper payment verification using callbacks/webhooks
Correct handling of payment states (success, pending, failed, cancelled)
Proper backend synchronization after payment
Provide basic technical documentation
5. Simplification of Ad Posting Process (Very Important)

The current app requires users to fill too many fields when posting ads.
This creates friction and may cause users to abandon the posting process.

Required improvement:

Review and redesign the ad posting form
Reduce required fields to only essential information
Ensure the posting process is fast and user-friendly
Maintain necessary functionality while improving simplicity
Improve UX flow to increase listing completion rate
Optimize form logic for quick population of ads

The goal is to make it very easy and quick for users to post listings.

6. Debugging & Performance Optimization
Identify and fix existing bugs
Optimize performance for large listing loads
Improve image loading and API efficiency
Ensure proper pagination/lazy loading
Remove unused or broken code
Implement proper error handling
7. Production Readiness & Play Store Testing
Prepare production build (AAB/APK)
Configure signing and release settings
Upload app to Google Play Console for internal/closed testing
Assist in resolving build or deployment issues
Ensure basic Play Store compliance
Requirements

Applicants must:

Provide links to live apps they have developed (Play Store preferred)
Have experience with marketplace/classified applications
Have experience integrating payment gateways
Have experience deploying Flutter apps to Play Store
Agree to milestone-based payments
Provide post-delivery bug support

I Will Provide

Full app source code/template
Branding assets (logos, colors)
Paynow API credentials
Google Play Console access
Backend/hosting access if required
