Job Title:
Build a Full HelloTalk-Inspired Multilingual Language Exchange App (Voice, Video, Chat & Community)
Project Brief:
We're developing Fluent Friends, a global language exchange app inspired by HelloTalk (which offers language support for 150–180+ languages). We're seeking a freelancer or team to fully replicate HelloTalk's features and exceed them with additional community or gamification components.

Language Support
- Support for 150 to 180+ languages, including mainstream and lesser-known options (e.g. Navajo, Esperanto).
User & Matching Features
- User registration/authentication (email/social login)
- Profiles: native language, target language(s), level, bio, avatar, gender, location
- Match search/filter by language, level, age, and region
Communication & Chat
- One-on-one text chat with correction, translation, dictionary lookup, and transliteration
- Voice messaging and voice calls
- Video calling support
Community Features
- Social Moments feed: users post text, voice or photos; others can comment and correct
- Voicerooms & Live Broadcasts: group audio rooms, live sessions hosted by native speakers
Learning Tools & AI
- Built-in translation, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, pronunciation feedback
- Vocabulary notebooks, flashcard support, grammar correction
- Live and on-demand lessons or course modules
Analytics & Moderation
- Reporting/blocking users
- Moderation dashboard for admin reviews
- Engagement analytics: messaging activity, live room attendance, social posting
Notifications & Monetization

- Proven track record of publishing to both App Store and Play Store
