Event Discovery App MVP

I need an MVP for a mobile app that lets people quickly discover nearby happenings. The focus is event discovery only—no ticketing or complex management yet—so we can move fast and validate the idea.

Core scope
• Build a functional prototype for iOS and Android (a single cross-platform codebase in Flutter or React Native is ideal, but I’m open to other modern stacks).
• Implement rock-solid search: users must be able to filter by date, category, distance, and keywords.
• Add smart event recommendations that learn from location and past selections. A simple rules-based engine works for now; keep the architecture flexible for future machine-learning tweaks.
• Basic admin panel or script to import a CSV/JSON feed of sample events so we can demo immediately.

Design & UX
Create clean, intuitive screens that feel native on both platforms. Low-fidelity wireframes are fine at first; iterate to a polished look consistent with current material/Apple design guidelines.

Deliverables
1. Source code in a Git repo with clear commit history.
2. Build-ready apps (APK/IPA or TestFlight link) plus a brief user guide.
3. One-page technical overview explaining architecture decisions and how to extend the codebase for features such as user reviews later on.
4. A short hand-off call or video recording walking through setup and deployment.
