New flutter app for Android / IOS / Web
Our company is developing and maintaining a cloud based tms (transport management system)
In this system we have a Android driver app (developed in Titanium)
This app is used to communicate with drivers.
We need this app redesigned and rewritten in Flutter2, for Android / IOS and web
Todays key functions:
• Login
• Receive orders
• Receive routes
• Set statuses and receive signature / images (proof of delivery) All is sent back to the tms trough our api.
• Set statuses on many addresses / orders at the same time.
• Send / receive messages to tms.
• Scan package barcodes for one or many pickup / deliveries. (Using camera)
• See uploaded documents (uploaded to Amazon s3)
• Send deviations with images.
• Take picture of document and upload. (camera)
• Navigate to address. (Using Google Maps)
• Local sqlite database. So that the app works even if no network.
• Using Firebase Cloud Messaging to tell the app that it should sync with tms (new orders, messages, withdrawn orders / updated orders)
• App sends gps position to tms, both in foreground and if the app is in the background
Wanted new functions:
• User presence (firebase ?) Today we use last connection time to see if the user is online or not.
• Update existing orders with updated info and / or new addresses.
• Create new order
• Show route on map.
• Driver profile. Change image, settings (sound + etc)
Expected skills:
• Flutter / Firebase expert
• Experienced UI designer
Working with the project:
The selected developer/team will get access to a live test version of the tms and instructions on using this to communicate with the app. More detailed instructions about the content and workflow will also be provided.
Please also expect that the project will need regular meetings and online demos of work done. Project builds and source will need to be sendt regulary.
The selected developer / team will also be prefered for future updating and developing on the app.
Please also provide and hourly price for this when the initial project is finished.
The app should be well documented so that its easy for other developers to maintain and develop.
While developing the communication should be trough emails and meetings trough Zoom.
