Deeplinks Implementation & Flutter BLoC Frontend with Supabase (PostgreSQL) Backend for Contact Management Solution
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
We are seeking proposals from experienced freelancers to implement a key component of our contact management solution, focusing on deeplinks and a Flutter BLoC frontend, integrated with our existing Supabase (PostgreSQL) backend. Our solution manages digital business cards, smart landing profiles, and lead capture forms, with a defined PostgreSQL database schema and pre-existing API endpoints.
The primary task for this proposal is to implement the solution's frontend using Flutter BLoC for the web application and to ensure robust universal deeplinking across web and mobile. This includes:
Flutter BLoC Frontend Implementation: Develop the necessary Flutter BLoC components for the web application to correctly render public profiles based on the deeplink slug, by calling our existing GET /api/profiles/{deeplink_slug} API endpoint. This endpoint retrieves data from the
user_profiles table, which includes the deeplink_slug.
Universal Deeplinking: Ensure that public profile URLs (e.g., https://www.ourcurrentwebsite.com/profile/{deeplink_slug}) function seamlessly across platforms. If a mobile recipient with our app installed clicks on such a link or scans a QR code connected to it, the link must open the corresponding public profile page directly within our mobile app. Otherwise, it should open in the web application. This will leverage the existing
deeplink_slug in the user_profiles table and the profile_qr_code_url and vcard_qr_code_url in the qr_codes table.
WordPress Integration: Configure https://www.google.com/search?q=ourcurrentwebsite.com to redirect specific public profile URLs to the corresponding web application URL if the mobile app is not detected. This can be achieved using a WordPress redirection plugin, custom PHP in functions.php, or server-level .htaccess/Nginx rules. We recommend using a WordPress redirection plugin for speed and ease of use.
QR Code Integration: Ensure the generated QR codes for public profiles are correctly linked to these universal deeplinks, allowing for direct in-app opening on scan. The
qr_codes table and generate_qr_codes function are already in place for this.
Error Handling: Ensure graceful handling of invalid or non-existent deeplinks, leading to appropriate 404 pages.
Testing: Thoroughly test the end-to-end deeplinking functionality across web and mobile platforms.
This project requires rapid development, with a maximum completion time of 2 days. We encourage the use of AI coding assistants like Cursor (or equivalent) for efficiency, and we will reimburse up to $30 CAD for a one-month subscription to Cursor.
Freelancers should indicate their total number of hours estimated for this project and their applicable hourly rate. Please submit your proposals by EOD Monday, July 21, 2025.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Flutter and BLoC pattern for state management
- Experience with Supabase and PostgreSQL for backend development
- Strong understanding of implementing deep links in mobile applications
- Familiarity with integrating social media authentication
- Ability to work with existing designs and translate them into functional interfaces
