Cross-Platform Ride-Hailing MVP Development
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a minimum-viable ride-hailing application built simultaneously for iOS and Android so that passengers and drivers can start completing real trips without the bloat of a full-scale product.
Core functionality must include:
• Real-time GPS tracking for both driver and rider, displaying ETA and live route updates
• Secure in-app payments (card processing and basic transaction history)
• Two-way driver and passenger ratings that update profiles immediately after each trip
An accompanying web-based admin panel is essential. From there I have to:
• View and manage active trips, users, payouts, and disputes
• Push price or promo adjustments live
• Access analytics that show daily trip volume and revenue at a glance
I’m open to any modern cross-platform stack—Flutter, React Native, or similar—as long as you can deliver smooth map rendering, reliable background location updates, and a clean, intuitive UI consistent across both operating systems.
Acceptance criteria
1. One build uploaded to TestFlight and an APK delivered for internal testing.
2. Admin panel deployed to a cloud host accessible over SSL.
3. End-to-end test ride successfully completed with payment captured and ratings logged.
Source code, brief setup docs, and hand-off meeting will complete the engagement.
