Cross-Platform Panic Button App

Job ID: 40254953

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need end-to-end development of a white-label panic button solution for the Shop team. The scope starts with twin native apps for Android and iOS. The core screen is a large, unmistakable panic button that triggers immediately on a single tap, then runs a background service to stream the user’s live GPS coordinates. While that data flows, the app must also begin audio and video capture for additional evidence, storing the media safely on the backend.

When an alert fires, three simultaneous channels should notify my staff: push notification to the admin app, SMS to duty phones, and email for audit trails. On the web side, I want a responsive dashboard that shows active alerts on a live map, lists user and device records, and lets me tune escalation rules (for example, auto‐escalate to police after 60 seconds with no admin acknowledgment). The backend must expose clean REST or GraphQL endpoints so future services—like a voice call API to local authorities—can be added without rewriting core logic.

Critical deliverables
• Native Android & iOS apps
• Single-tap activation, automatic location sharing, audio/video recording in background
• Secure backend with user/device registry and alert API
• Web dashboard for real-time incident monitoring and rule management
• Multi-channel alert dispatcher: push, SMS, and email

Acceptance
The system should raise a complete alert flow—button press to multi-channel notification—in under five seconds on a mid-tier 4G connection. Location must update every ten seconds until the incident is closed from the dashboard.

If you have experience with Flutter or React Native plus Firebase, Twilio, or similar stacks, let me know; I’m open to the tech you’re fastest with so long as it meets the performance target and can be branded to Shop. Looking forward to your approach and timeline.
