Cross-Platform Mentoring App Development

Job ID: 40153352

Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD

I am building Pathwayz, a mobile application that pairs boys and young men with committed adult male mentors. The core of the product is an engaging mentor dashboard where matched pairs can chat, track progress, and schedule check-ins, so the user experience around Mentor Engagement must feel smooth and purposeful from day one.

Scope
• A single code-base that compiles cleanly for both iOS and Android, published to TestFlight and an internal Google Play track during development.
• Mentor engagement screen set: secure messaging, session scheduling, and progress updates.
• Secondary modules already planned—goal-setting tools, AI-powered insights drawn from activity patterns, a short personal-development assessment flow, and a browsable learning-resource library—should be scaffolded so they plug in without re-architecting the project later.

Key expectations
• Cross-platform framework such as Flutter or React Native with Firebase, Supabase, or another realtime backend you can defend technically.
• Clean, testable code and concise documentation that lets another dev pick up where you leave off.
• Working prototype of the mentor engagement features ready for stakeholder review inside 30 days; full feature set delivered and store-submission-ready within 60 days.

Deliverables
1. Source repository with commit history.
2. Two compiled builds (iOS & Android) matching the agreed acceptance criteria.
3. Brief technical hand-off note and a sprint-based delivery log.

If this timeline and vision align with your skill set, let’s talk details and lock in the architecture so we can start sprinting immediately.
