Budget-Friendly Marketplace App

I’d like to launch a lean, cross-platform marketplace where people can buy and sell products straight from their phones. The app must ship on both iOS and Android in the same release cycle, so using a shared codebase (Flutter, React Native or similar) will help us stay within my tight budget.

Core workflow
• Browse or search product listings with filters
• Add items to a cart, then pay securely (Stripe, PayPal or another well-documented gateway)
• Post new products with photos, price and description
• Order history and push notifications for status updates

Accounts & access
Both guest checkout and full user accounts are required. Guests can browse and purchase; registered users can list items, track sales and save favourites. Social sign-in is a plus if it doesn’t add major overhead.

Admin tools
A lightweight web-based dashboard (or in-app admin mode) should let me approve listings, manage disputes and run basic analytics.

Approach & milestones
Because funding is limited, I prefer an MVP first: core buying/selling loop, payment integration and basic admin. Enhancements such as reviews, chat, or advanced analytics can follow once the initial release proves traction.

What I’ll consider success
1. App passes App Store and Google Play review.
2. Smooth checkout for both guests and logged-in users.
3. Product upload, edit and delete all work without crashes.
4. Codebase is clean, documented and ready for feature growth.
