App Debugging for VoiceToNotes.ai

Hello,
I need a freelancer to help fix bugs in my mobile app VoiceToNotes.ai. The app is live on the Play Store and App Store. Your task will be:

Download the app from the store

Test it thoroughly on your device

Identify and fix any issues (such as crashes, UI problems, or performance issues)

Important Notes:

This work is only for the mobile app

No work is required on the backend or web app

Source code will be provided after the initial discussion

Requirements:

Experience in mobile app debugging (Flutter / React Native / Native Android or iOS)

Ability to test and fix real-device issues

Clear communication and timely delivery

Bug #1: Audio Not Uploading Properly on Some Devices

Issue: When users record voice notes and tap “Save”, the audio sometimes gets stuck on “Uploading...” and never finishes. This happens frequently on low-end Android phones or when network speed is low.

Expected Behavior: Audio should upload reliably with a visible progress indicator. If the upload fails, an error message should appear.

Bug #2: Transcription Not Displaying After Upload

Issue: After recording and saving, transcription does not show up in the list view until the app is restarted. This confuses users as they think the recording failed.

Expected Behavior: Once a voice note is saved and transcribed, it should immediately appear in the notes list without needing to restart the app.
