Anonymous Auto-Erase Chat App

Job ID: 39814043

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I want to release a minimal, privacy-first messenger that runs on both iOS and Android. As soon as a message is read it must be wiped from the conversation history, the device cache, and the back-end store. No log-in, phone number, or email should be requested at any point; users open the app and begin chatting instantly and anonymously.

The core experience is one-to-one text chat, so the architecture has to guarantee message delivery, confirm it was opened, then securely destroy it. If you suggest a lightweight real-time back-end—Firebase with TTL rules, Supabase, custom Node/WebSocket server, or another option—please explain how it will meet that “erase on read” requirement and scale modestly at launch.

I’m flexible on the tech stack as long as a single code-base targets both platforms (Flutter or React Native are perfectly fine), the UI feels native, and the build can pass App Store and Play Store review. End-to-end encryption, push notifications, and an in-app “report abuse” flow should be included to keep the service safe without sacrificing anonymity.

Deliverables I need from you:
• Complete source code with clear comments
• Deployed back-end (or infrastructure as code) ready for my own cloud account
• Signed iOS and Android release builds plus step-by-step deployment notes
• Brief test plan showing that messages disappear the moment they are opened

Show me previous work on secure or real-time chat, outline any libraries you plan to rely on, and give an estimate of the timeline for an MVP and a polished store-ready build.
