Android Food Delivery Marketplace MVP
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building a small-city alternative to Uber Eats and want a first, fully functional MVP delivered in Flutter with Firebase as the backend. The initial release targets Android only but the codebase should remain clean enough to compile for iOS later.
Core flow
• Customers browse restaurants and menu items, place orders, then upload a bank-transfer or mobile-money payment slip.
• An admin reviews each upload, flags it as paid, and the order moves to “ready for preparation”.
• Restaurants manage their own catalogue—photo, price, description—and mark orders as prepared.
• Delivery riders accept jobs, track status, and complete hand-offs.
• A flat-fee commission is applied to every order, credited to a basic in-app wallet. Balances for restaurants and riders must be viewable and exportable by the admin.
Tech expectations
Flutter 3.x, Firebase Authentication, Firestore/Realtime DB, Cloud Storage for images and payment proofs, and Firebase Cloud Functions where logic is needed (e.g., commission handling). If you normally integrate Google Maps or FCM push notifications, include that in the estimate.
Deliverables
• Android APK ready for Play-Store internal testing
• All Flutter/Firebase source code and project files
• Simple admin panel or documented Firebase console setup for manual payment verification and user management
• One-page deployment guide so I can reproduce the build locally
• Short hand-off call or screencast walkthrough
