Add video livesteam to existing flutter app
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Purpose: We are seeking to allow for users to livestream video/audio using their device through our flutter app.
General: A user who has created a scheduled event should be able to open that event, click a button to “Go Live”, and other users should be able to watch/listen to the video/audio originating from the event creator’s phone/device.
Requirements:
• For an event that has already been created, the user who created the event is able to open the event from their profile (already functional). The event window that appears needs to have a “Go Live” button.
◦ Upon pressing the “Go Live” button the screen should turn to a full-screen view of what their camera/microphone are capturing. This should begin a livestream for other users to watch/listen. This screen should also have an “End Livestream” button which, upon pressing, ends the livestream.
• For other users interested in watching the livestream, they should be able to open the event, either through the feed or from the event creator’s profile (both already functional). The event window that appears needs to have a “Watch Livestream” button.
Upon pressing the “Watch Livestream” button the screen should turn to a full-screen view of what the event creator’s camera/microphone are capturing. This screen should also have an “Stop Watching” button which, upon pressing, ends the livestream.
We have a list of existing flutter apps with live stream capability that can be used to integrate with our app. We also have a list of GitHub repositories that could be used for the livestream aspect if that would be easier. A solution would entail integrating existing live stream code rather than spending the time to custom build a live stream.
