Bhakti Kirtan Harmonium Accompanist

We are seeking an intermediate female harmonium accompanist for an intimate monthly home kirtan. We will be performing Bhakti yoga kirtan.

Key Requirements:
- Intermediate harmonium skills
- Vocal harmonization capacity
- Ability to lead chants when asked
- Supportive role for lead singer

Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Bhakti yoga kirtan
- Strong musical background
- Comfortable in intimate, home settings
- location is in Hayward, california
- The ideal accompanist would:
• be comfortable accompanying a lead singer in kirtan and mantra repetition
• have familiarity with Sanskrit chants and pronunciation
• be able to follow devotional flow without needing to dominate musically
• value listening, simplicity, steadiness, and spiritual presence
• be warm, collaborative, reliable, and open-hearted
• ideally reside within reasonable driving distance of Hayward

This is a paid monthly honorarium position.
