Responsibilities
• Create custom barndominium floor plans from client inputs
• Produce layouts that match real construction standards and meet local code requirements
• Deliver plans that contractors can actually build without revision
• Redline and adjust plans quickly when clients request changes
• Create multiple variations for the same footprint to increase close rate
• Work directly with sales to give clients accurate square footage, budget ranges, and feasibility notes
• Deliver plans in clean PDF plus editable CAD format
Requirements
• Strong experience in residential design and drafting
• Proven work with barndominiums or metal building homes
• Ability to design efficient layouts that minimize cost per square foot
• Must understand load paths, structural spacing, and metal building constraints
• Fast revisions
• Fluent in CAD or similar programs
• Portfolio required
