Web App Development and Cleanup
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We're currently working on a web app that we need someone to take over. This involved continuing the development where the previous dev left off and cleaning up the structure, which got a bit messy due to different devs having worked on it without directly working together with each other. An example of an inconsistency is that part of the frontend is written in javascript, part of it in typescript. The goal is to have everything in TS.
The frontend is being developed in React, DaisyUI (Tailwind CSS) and we're using tools like Vite and pnpm.
The backend uses Python and Flask with a PostgreSQL database (using Triggers and Views).
The infrastructure is containerized with Kubernetes and a gitops approach is used to deploy to testing (from PR) and production when merged to main.
It is a platform that helps guides towards sustainability goals and will have form fields that need to be filled in based on set value(s) (ranges). The platform is in English only for now, so there's no need for internationalization.
Right now we're looking for someone who can quickly pick up the pace to complete the features that are missing for the initial MVP release. This involves mainly frontend work, but it would be additionally beneficial if the freelancer also has experience with Python, Flask and PostgreSQL.
