I need an experienced Python developer who can jump into an existing codebase, get oriented quickly, and start delivering tangible improvements. The immediate priority is to review my current scripts and small web components, identify pain points, and propose a clear action plan. From there, you’ll help me implement the agreed-upon fixes, new features, or optimizations—whatever proves most valuable after the initial audit.
I work in Git and communicate on Slack, so you’ll need to be comfortable with version control and async collaboration. The tech stack is flexible: if the solution calls for Django or Flask on the web side, or Pandas for data wrangling, I’m open to whichever library best solves the problem cleanly.
Deliverables (first sprint)
• Code audit with brief report on issues and quick wins
• Refactored or newly added modules, fully tested
