Description: I architected and developed a full-scale web application designed to handle complex event management, accommodation logistics, and user communications. This project showcases my ability to build robust, production-ready systems from the ground up using Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL.
Key highlights of what I built:
Complex Data Relationships: Designed a scalable database schema using SQLAlchemy to seamlessly link user registrations, event schedules, room allotments, and financial donations.
Automated Communication Workflows: Integrated automated Email (Flask-Mail) and WhatsApp messaging (using custom templates) to keep users instantly updated on their registration and accommodation status.
Advanced Database Architecture: Implemented a custom dual-write database replication system to sync data in real-time across two separate cloud databases (Neon and Railway), ensuring high availability and data redundancy.
Admin & Analytics: Built a comprehensive admin dashboard with detailed activity logging. Engineered custom reporting features that generate downloadable PDFs (fpdf2) and process/export Excel data (openpyxl).
Secure & Deployable: Implemented secure authentication flows (Flask-Login) and containerized the application using Docker for seamless cloud deployment.
