Deploy Flask App on AWS
Budget: ₹100 – ₹101 INR
My Flask application is feature-complete and running smoothly on my local machine; now I need it live on AWS. I’m looking for a straightforward production deployment that keeps the current codebase intact while following best practices for security and scalability.
Key points you should know:
• Hosting platform: AWS (open to EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, or a similar AWS solution—whichever suits a small-scale app best).
• Database: the project uses a database (MONGODB) other than MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite; you’ll simply connect to the existing external service, no data migration is required.
• Configuration: the app relies on several environment variables that must be set securely in the AWS environment.
Deliverables:
1. Deployed, running Flask application accessible via a public URL.
2. All required environment variables configured safely in AWS.
3. A concise README or hand-off note outlining how to restart, scale, or update the service.
If SSL configuration or load balancing is simple to weave in, I’m happy to discuss it, but it isn’t mandatory for this milestone.
