Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Job Title:
Build a Vectorizer Website Like Vectorizer.AI (Image to SVG Converter)
Job Description:
I'm a student looking to build a minimal version of Vectorizer.AI — a web tool that converts raster images (JPG/PNG) into vector format (SVG).
I have a basic version working using Flask and Potrace, but I’d like help from a skilled developer to improve and deploy it professionally.
What I Need:
A responsive front-end where users can:
Upload raster images (JPG/PNG)
View a live preview of the converted SVG
Download the SVG
Backend (Flask or Node.js preferred) that:
Accepts the uploaded image
Converts it using Potrace or ImageTracerJS
Returns the vector output
Hosting guidance (Replit preferred for MVP)
Clean and minimal UI design
Optional: Add image cleanup options (grayscale, smoothing)
Tech Stack Preferred:
Python (Flask) or Node.js
HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React optional)
Potrace or other vectorization tools
Deployment on Replit, Render, or Vercel
Budget:
As a student, I’m working with a limited budget. I’m open to fair offers from new freelancers looking to build a portfolio. Please mention:
Your total cost for the MVP version
Time estimate
Any similar projects you’ve done
Goal:
I want a basic, fully working site like Vectorizer.AI with scope for later improvements. Clean code, good communication, and simple UI are most important.
