NickelMenu Setup on Kobo
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I already have a Kobo Clara HD and want to streamline its controls through NickelMenu. My main goal is a ready-to-drop-in configuration that lets me:
• toggle Wi-Fi on/off
- add a custom icon for nickel menu
• toggle Bluetooth and initiate pairing with a page-turner remote (most important)
• power off the device from the menu
• add a dedicated entry that pairs my off-brand Bluetooth page-turner and confirms connection
Please generate the nm.ini entries and any companion scripts needed, explain where each file goes, and note any required permissions or packages. A short walkthrough of how to pair the remote the first time would be helpful so I can replicate it after future resets.
