Fix Bambu H2S Homing Error
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
My Bambu H2S has printed flawlessly for months, but today the 3D printer refuses to home the Z-axis. Each job halts with the message:
“Autodesk Fusion Z axis homing failed; the task has been stopped [0300-4000 103222]”
What I’ve already tried
• Checked the motion path for physical obstructions – none found.
• Reseated all visible connectors – everything looks solid.
• Ran the full manual calibration sequence in Bambu Studio 2.4.0.70; calibration stalls at the same homing error.
Current status
• Firmware was updated just before the problem began.
• I have NOT attempted a rollback and would prefer live, remote help walking through that process and any other diagnostic steps you recommend.
What I need from you
1. Connect with me (Zoom, Teams, or similar) and remotely guide a safe firmware rollback or alternative fix.
2. Verify successful Z-axis homing and complete a short test print to prove the solution.
3. Provide a brief recap of the steps we performed so I can repeat them if needed.
If you have hands-on experience with Bambu printers,, or similar motion-control troubleshooting, I’d love to get this machine back online quickly.
