Firmware Update for Memory IC

I need help updating the firmware for a memory IC change. Existing Code has written in Assembly Language.

Current Setup:
- Using memory IC AT28C256
- Need to change to AT24C512

Requirements:
- Update firmware to accommodate new memory IC
- Ensure compatibility and functionality with existing testing instruments
