Custom Inverter Design & Prototype

Job ID: 40082027

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a complete inverter designed and taken through to a tested prototype. The scope starts with concept selection—choosing the most efficient topology for my use case—then moves into detailed schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, firmware (if micro-controlled), thermal analysis, and finally a working, bench-tested unit that meets international safety and EMC standards.

I will provide my target AC output characteristics (voltage, frequency, waveform quality) once we begin; you will translate those into a full bill of materials and a manufacturable design. Please include:

• Native design files (Altium, KiCad, or similar)
• Gerbers and assembly drawings ready for fabrication
• Firmware source code with inline documentation
• Test report confirming efficiency, THD, protection features, and thermal performance
• A short video or photos of the prototype under load

Experience with high-frequency switching devices (SiC, GaN) and modern control techniques (SPWM, SVPWM, or similar) is highly valued, but I’m open to your preferred approach if you can justify the advantages.

A clear timeline with milestone hand-offs for schematic, layout, firmware, and prototype testing will help the project run smoothly.
