Yealink W78P DECT Phone System Integration
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I need assistance connecting my Yealink W78P DECT Phone System via SSL VPN over the internet to my local SWYX SIP telephone system (no cloud PBX). Several Yealink W78P DECT Phone systems are to be connected to the local SIP telephone system (no cloud telephone system) via SSL VPN over the internet.
The Yealink W78P DECT Phone systems have their own VPN Client (Open VPN). The firewall is configured in such a way that login takes place using a user name and password as well as a certificate (PKI, SSL VPN with certificate authentication). The phones are to be configured so that they independently establish a VPN connection over the internet to the Fortigate firewall. Changes to the firewall (in particular lowering the security level) are not possible.
A site-to-site connection (S2S vpn) is not an option. The phones are to be given to employees to take home so that they can be reached in the home office (via VPN SSL over the internet).
The phones would be configured in a joint session via Teamviewer.
You must check in advance, please, whether this is technically feasible. We have not checked this.
The primary purpose of this connection is to facilitate both internal communication and external calls.
