Addressable High-Rise Alarm Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Design Engineer to develop a complete standalone fire detection and alarm system design for a Residential cum Commercial building in India, in compliance with National Building Code of India and IS 2189.
Scope of Work:
• Design a complete fire alarm and detection system
• Selection and placement of smoke detectors, manual call points (MCPs), hooters/sounders, and fire alarm control panel (addressable)
• Perform detector coverage calculations as per IS 2189 spacing norms
• Perform zoning or loop design for the complete system
• Perform battery backup calculation (24 hrs standby + 30 min alarm or as per code)
• Perform voltage drop calculation
Drawings & Documents:
• Prepare device layout drawings (AutoCAD) for all floors including basement
• Prepare zoning layout
• Prepare loop or wiring schematic diagram
• Prepare single line diagram (SLD)
• Prepare fire alarm riser diagram showing floor-wise interconnection, loop configuration or zone wiring, panel connectivity, cable routing between floors, and power supply with battery backup, fully coordinated with floor plans and design
Calculations & Reports:
• Provide detector coverage compliance report
• Provide battery calculation sheet
• Provide BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

Requirements:
• Proven experience in fire alarm system design as per NBC and IS 2189
• Strong knowledge of detector spacing, zoning, and loop design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience in battery sizing and load calculations
• Ability to deliver accurate, coordinated, and code-compliant drawings
Deliverables Format:
• AutoCAD (.dwg) and PDF drawings
• Excel sheets for calculations
• BOQ in Excel
