Fractional CTO for Fintech Marketplace
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need an experienced fractional CTO to take our working MVP of a curated financial marketplace for urban Indian families and turn it into a rock-solid Phase 1 release. My immediate priority is hands-on system design: mapping the overall architecture, defining critical services, choosing the right data flow patterns, and laying down the integration points for banking, KYC, and third-party investment products.
Alongside the architectural blueprints, I’ll lean on you for product-level thinking—translating our customer insights into a development roadmap and helping me decide which features ship first without over-engineering. While scalability planning and final tech-stack choices are open for discussion, the first order of business is a detailed, actionable system design that my in-house engineers can start implementing right away.
Timeline is tight; I’m aiming to kick off as soon as we agree on scope.
Deliverables
• High-level and component-level system design documentation (diagrams + narrative)
• Phase 1 implementation roadmap with clear milestones and risk assessment
• Technical decision log covering any trade-offs or assumptions made
Acceptance criteria
• Design supports at least 10× current user load without major refactor
• All data flows meet Indian financial compliance requirements (e.g., RBI guidelines)
• Roadmap broken into two-week sprints that my team can execute independently
