WILDLAND FIRES SIMULATION USING FDS : A physics-Based model -- 3

Job ID: 37635340

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

Your Profile must be showing you have Engineering background.
I am looking for CFD Engineer has very good background in CFD TOOLS and familiar with using COMSOL or FDS.
The basic model for one tree will be provided. The project will be divided into 3 milestones.
1- Build model
A - You will get FDS model for one tree, then you need to upgrade model to include 100 douglas fire Trees (number of trees open to discussion)
B _ 5 m dougals fir tree model will be provided, You need to Run model and compare results with 5M douglas fir tree and show the accuracy of modelling using grid convergency, MLR, HRR, Rate of spread.
C _ You need to upgrade model by increase amount of trees up to 100, and use fuel model (Fuel Elements to represent vegetation, and boundray fuel to represent fuel bed which will be grasslands as taken from previous work). and you need to allow fire spread under tree and allow fire to spread from forest floor to crown fires.
D_ The most important part and the aim of this research you need to study influence of wind speed and land slop on model by changing wind speed two times and land slop with different degree.
E_ You need to do professional figures to show ( HRR, MLR, heat radiation, rate of spread,quasi-steady rate of spread of crown fire.....etc) before heading to milestone 2 freelancer must show model and how he made it, via [Removed by Freelancer.com Admin] meeting(model should be working 100%) I am happy to meet and show interesting freelancer how to build model.
2-Write results report using Scientific approach with cover CFD background.
3- Respond to Journal comments and update their questions.
