Stress Analysis for Reactor Nozzle
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
requires stress analysis on a reactor nozzle. They intend fitting a dip pipe through the nozzle, but need to know that the nozzle is suitable, and need to be sure the dip pipe can do the job, bearing in mind that the vessel is fitted with an agitator.
Do you think this is something you can help with?
In addition to the physical data the things I’d like you to consider are:
Longest dippipe we could have without internal vessel modifications (to add supports etc..)
Mechanical design for a directional dip-pipe to direct recirculation to the vessel wall , and if this is ok for stress/erosion risk on the vessel wall given the high recirculation flow rates
Vessel fabrication drawings will be provided
Nozzle will be used for the dip-pipe
Vessel data sheet will be provided with process and fluid conditions
Agitator IOM will be provided
The agitator does run whilst filling
Maximum flowrate through the dip-pipe is 225 m3/h during Acrylonitrile addition, as the reactor contents increases from 25 to 35 m3. The flowrate is 150 m3/h when there is only water in the reactor, up to 25 m3
We need
Caeser - Dip pipe stress analysis
PV Elite - Nozzle analysis
All detailed reports required
