Seismic Retrofit of Steel Building
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
A 5 story structural steel building needs to be retrofitted. Software used : SAP 2000
Requirements:
1. Modeling the structure in SAP 2000
2. Modal Analysis
3. Response spectrum analysis
4. Non- Linear Static Analysis
5. Proposing an efficient option( Bracing/base isolation/dampers)
I have decent knowledge about the process and I have Structural engineering background. I am trying go through these steps with someone to get a better understanding. (USA CODES needs to used ASCE 7/FEMA 440)
