Python Code for Window Condensation Modeling

Job ID: 39628927

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am looking for a skilled programmer to develop a Python code using finite element methods to solve a heat transfer problem involving condensation on double-pane windows. The model should be two-dimensional and allow for the adjustment of several parameters to simulate different conditions.

Key Requirements:
- Develop a 2D finite element model for heat transfer and condensation on double-pane windows.
- Allow parameter adjustments for:
- Temperature (both outside and inside)
- Relative humidity (inside and in the gap between panes)
- Thermal conductivity of the glass
- Include the option to select Argon as the gas between the panes.
- Calculate surface temperatures using adjustable convection coefficients (outside and inside).
- Provide equations used for condensation and dew point calculations.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with finite element methods.
- Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and condensation phenomena.
- Ability to implement adjustable parameters in a simulation model.
- Experience with scientific computing libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, or similar.

This project requires a comprehensive understanding of thermal dynamics and the ability to translate these principles into a functional and flexible simulation tool. If you have the expertise to tackle this challenge, I look forward to your proposal.
